Seven months after a devastating typhoon destroyed portions of Southern Philippines, rebuilding efforts have slowly begun. To help in the rehabilitation effort, an all-star concert headlined by Apl.de.ap, will.i.am and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas is set for Sunday, June 8 at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Spearheaded by the Apl.de.ap Foundation (ADAF), the charitable organization founded by BEP Apl.de.ap, the concert will bring together artists from various musical genres as well as from countries from around the world.
My company, Resonate Marketing, is helping to provide solar powered light and cell phone chargers made by WakaWaka through their buy one and give one program. The cost for the WakaWaka light is $39.95 and includes the one we give away!
The WakaWaka light is a sturdy, highly efficient and sustainable solar-powered LED lamp. Providing users with up to 80 hours of bright, safe and sustainable light after just one single day in the sun.
– Full battery after 5 – 10hrs in the sun
– 3 light settings: from 5 to 25 lumen
– Flexible positioning: table top, on a bottle, hanging from the ceiling
– SOS emergency beacon
– Patented Intivation SunBoost chip
– 100% recycled PC-ABS, high impact resistant
I would like to know if we can team up and get the community to come together and make this event a real winner for this cause. We can give the AAPIP visibility on stage at the Greek to announce your contributions to this great cause.
